- STEP 01
UPLOAD
Either party creates the project free and uploads plans, the builder's quotation, specifications and supporting documents. TwoPact flags what is missing or unclear.
- STEP 02
PACT
A Draft Pact is produced: agreed scope, exclusions, stages, stage values, payment milestones, evidence required, checkpoints, hold points, variation procedure and completion requirements. Reviewed by a person before issue.
- STEP 03
DOCUMENT
During construction the builder uploads evidence against each agreed stage. The homeowner sees it live.
- STEP 04
REVIEW
The builder requests a stage review. TwoPact reviews the evidence and records Green, Amber or Red against the requirements agreed in the Pact.
- STEP 05
PAY
Once a stage is Green the agreed stage payment becomes due. The homeowner pays the builder directly — TwoPact never holds construction funds.
- STEP 06
PASSPORT
At completion TwoPact generates a locked TwoPact Project Passport: the documented history of the completed project.
Stage reviews
Every stage is reviewed against what was agreed.
When the builder believes a stage is complete they request a stage review. TwoPact reviews the evidence and records one of three outcomes.
GREEN — STAGE COMPLETE
The evidence requirements agreed in the Pact for that stage have been satisfied. This does not mean the work is perfect, defect-free, safe or universally compliant.
AMBER — ACTION REQUIRED
Evidence, information, a certificate or agreed work is still outstanding.
RED — INDEPENDENT REVIEW REQUIRED
Used for material disputes, inability to establish completion, professional concerns, or where physical independent review is required.
Once a stage is Green the agreed stage payment becomes due and the homeowner pays the builder directly. TwoPact does not hold construction funds. Where professional evidence is required — Building Control, a structural engineer or relevant trade certification — the Pact defines that requirement and the evidence must be recorded.
